Restricting ads above the logo and tagline

Hi,

I’ve implemented Google Adsense on my blog at http://sparkandspoon.com/. How do I prevent ads above the “Spark and Spoon” logo and tagline from displaying? My understanding is that Google Adsense automatically picks the placement of the ads on the pages. There’s some white space right above the logo and tagline, which is probably why Google likes to show ads there. To achieve my desired result, is there a way I could minimize this white space so that no ads show up here?

Thanks!

Hello there,

I hope you are doing well today.

You can use the following CSS code to remove that ad by going to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and pasting it there.

/*Ad Removal*/
.google-auto-placed {
    display: none;
}
