Hello, fantastic people who created a phenomenal free Wordpress w/Bootstrap theme! I really appreciate the quality you all gave us.
I’m reaching out to ask if you can guide me on the best route for adding a rotating background that fades in and out for the hero section on the homepage?
I know I can probably download a plugin but I wanted to see what will work best with this theme.

Your best bet would be getting this done with the help of a plugin. Adding a slider within the theme would require a considerable amount of coding which essentially defeats the purpose of using such a simple platform as WordPress.
You could try out Meta Slider from www.wordpress.org/plugins/
This is a free plugin that works pretty well. There are other free ones, and even some even greater paid ones such as Revolution Slider which you may check out if you wish.
