Same image just below slider; any way to change this?

Hi there,

Amazing theme! I’m in love with it. However, I’m having quite a hard time with one small detail. I’m using a slider and was wondering if it could be possible to change the image that appear on them because it seems repetitive to have a picture on the slider and the same image just below it on the post preview. Is there any way to change this?? Maybe select what post will appear on the slider and which ones will not could help? thank you in advance.

This is how it looks now:

Hi @sabpaz,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

There are two ways to resolve this.

The first one is you can use pages for the slider instead of posts by using the solution shared in the following topic.

https://colorlibsupport.com/t/using-pages-rather-than-posts-for-flexslider/

Please configure it as described in the below thread.

The second one is by excluding slider posts from displaying in the blog. You can achieve this by developing custom code referring the solution posted in the below topic.

Hi Movin,

Thank you so much for your reply and help on this issue. However, it does not solve exactly what I’m looking for. I still want people to be able to see those posts when they access the category on the menu, which neither of this options would allow them to. Is there any way to simply exclude some posts from appearing on recent posts on the homepage? That’d be the easiest solution, I guess.

Please let me know.

You can try achieving this by using the attached small plugin specially developed for you that contains some custom code.
