Shapely - Sold Individually setting on Variable Product not working

I am using WooCommerce with Shapely. I have a Variable Product set up with the “Sold Individually” setting checked. The checkout allows multiples of this product to be selected. This is not an issue on my “Simple” products.

I cannot find this issue in the Shapely forum but through another Facebook group had it suggested to me that my theme may be overriding this setting.

I am not a database person or a coder but really need this issue resolved. Can you help me?

In order for us to confirm if the issue could be linked to the theme, kindly try testing it out using one of the default WP themes to see how it goes.

Okay, I did the testing as you suggested. I now know exactly what is happening and no, it is not a problem with the theme.

My problems is that in order for the setting to work properly, the identical variables of the product must be selected. Which means that technically, the product can be purchased twice as long as the variable are different in each selection. Hopefully this makes sense to you as it is making perfect sense to me now.

Now I just need to figure out if there is a work around to that situation.

Unfortunately, since this is not theme related problem we cant investigate it, my suggestion is to contact Woocommerce support for this and similar problems
