problem remains…
@colorlib: thanks for the URL, but this is the solution I also posted 4 days ago (https://colorlibsupport.com/t/import-of-shapely-widgets-wie-fails/). Unfortunately it doesn’t address the issue in this very thread.
So a solution for the problem described above would still be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
I have the same issue. I’ve been checking back in this thread constantly for a solution to this. Can you at least provide a list of the widgets we’re supposed to install so I can move forward with trying out this theme? Or should I just abandon all together and look for something else?
I tried also, and the wie import does the same thing.
Hi Guys,
As On the github request:
WP 4.7.1 managed to “break” the WP Importer / Exporter plugin. And many others. The solution is to also install this plugin: Disable Real MIME Check – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org and then WP Widget Importer / Exporter will work just fine.
If you already did this, please tell us and I will post a new bug to the github account.
Thanks,
Cristian
Activated the Shapely Companion and updated the Disable Real MIME Check widget; import worked like a charm.

Ah the Shapely Companion was the missing link. Looked up that plugin, installed it and that did the trick! Thanks Robin.
you’re welcome.
Hi!
I have the same issue. Did you find how to fix this yet?

Hi,
When I look at the portfolio, I get that page : https://colorlib.com/shapely/portfolio/ instead of a page that come from the template. Is this means that it did not work?
Hi,
I received few updates to do today. One ot them was for the Shapely Companion. After doing the update, I re-uploaded the Shapely-widgets file and the two missing wigets were uploaded. After doing other steps, I was able to make the portfolio work. So no need to answer my request. Thanks!
Has this been resolved?? I updated the Shapely theme and now I am having the same issue with the widgets.
I am having same issue can you please help?
