Shapely theme - how to change logo and nav bar position and size?

Hello,

I’m using Shapely theme, which is great, however I would like my logo to be large centred and above the nav bar menu, like in the attached image. Could anyone please help me with that changes?

It needs a few code-level customization, but we can help you with that. :wink: Use this Child Theme: http://take.ms/sXFTG It will do the trick… :slight_smile:

PS: In functions.php and style.css adjust the header logo size according to your needs.

Hi Laranz,

Thank you very much for your help. Your child theme has beautifully centred everything and put the logo on top of the nav bar. However, although I’ve adjusted the header logo size in both functions.php and style.css documents my logo image became squashed (as in the attached pic). I’ve entered the same dimensions as the size of my logo. Is there anything else I could do to adjust it please?

Also, if it is not too much, I was wondering how can I make the solid white background behind the navigation menu bar as I scroll down the page the menu bar is transparent and the menu options can’t be seen on top of the images.

I’ve also tried to remove the ‘Home’ title in the static home page with a code from this forum
body.page header.page-header {display: none;}
and tried to change the size of the footer by applying
footer#colophon {padding: 32px 0;}
and size and the font of the navigation menu on Home Page but none of them worked. Could you please help me with these too?
