I am totally loving your Dazzling WP Theme and I was wondering if there was a way to render short codes within the Call For Action Text area?
To be specific, I would like to have a countdown timer there.
Currently I am testing the following plugins
But when I insert the short-codes, like: [fergcorp_cdt]
[wpdevart_countdown text_for_day=“Days” text_for_hour=“Hours” text_for_minut=“Minutes” text_for_second=“Seconds” start_time=“1446329084” end_time=“30,7,10” action_end_time=“show_text” content_position=“right” top_ditance=“0” bottom_distance=“0” ]AUCTION ENDED[/wpdevart_countdown]
The theme renders it as plain text.
If I use the same codes in a post or in a page it works perfectly fine.
Could you please help me figure this out?
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
By default the shortcodes added in the Call For Action Text area of the theme don’t get executed but you can make it to execute by using the attached child theme of Dazzling theme that contains some custom code.
Oh wow!, This is awesome!
Thank you very much Movin!
You are most welcome here
Sweet, that’s great to know.
Are you no longer supporting the “front page” settings?
I noticed the front-page.php file disappeared when updating to Dazzling 2.0
The “Theme Options” tab within the Admin was removed as well.
To help keep support thread separates could you please create your own thread for your question here https://colorlibsupport.com/c/dazzling/ instead of replying on others thread as it makes the thread messy and hard to read.
If you want to you can also add reference of this thread in your newly created thread.
We would be more than happy to help you on your new thread.
Hi… I started another thread as instructed,
(even thought this is in fact my own thread also)
but I haven’t heard from you and it’s been over 2 weeks.
Could you please get back to me?
here is my question:
