I purchased a single licence 2 days ago and have no instruction on how to apply the licence to the Shapely theme I have installed.

Hope you are having a good day and thank you for your question 
There is no special procedure after the purchase, once you get a confirmation email you can remove footer credits from the theme/template there is no other steps required
