Slider does only work in Customize mode

Hello Support Team,

I am handling now quite long with the theme Dazzling for Wordpress and the Slider doesn’t work for me in the view mode. Just when I open the page in the customize mode, the silder works fine. Otherwise there is the message, “Slider is not properly configured”.
In my opinion I have setup everything like in the manual for the theme. The main page is static setup as front page and the category is setup for the slider with 3 posts. Each post as a featured image. So I am at the end of my wisdom. I am using WP for the first time, so I am sorry if the mistake is really stupid.

My WP version 4.3.7 and I installed the newest version of theme. In the web I couldn’t find some similar problem to mine, but maybe you have an idea why it works in the customize view and not in the reading view.

I hope you are doing well today.

Please check to ensure that the following conditions are met:

  • A slider post category exists and ensure that 3 posts assigned to the category.
  • Each post in the slider should have a featured image.
  • Set the screen was set to full size on each post.

yes I have checked these conditions. I have made some screenshots, that you can see how i have setup the posts.

Thanks for that information. I have looked at the images, nice work. In image “Post1_2”, please set the format of the posts to image and tell me how that works.

I hope you are doing well today.

WordPress 4.7.3 should be compatible with the slider.

I cannot recreate this issue on my end. Could you please ensure that you have more than one post category with posts assigned to it then go to Appearance > Customize > Dazzling Options > Slider Options and change the number of slide items.

I have 3 posts in my category and I have setup the setting of the slider to 3 slides. Now I have changed it to 2 slides and it works. So actually I need one post more then I actually have? Interesting. The setup is for all 3 posts in that category the same.

Never mind. It works now more or less. Thanks for your support and time.
