I want to use the WP theme Activello, but when I activated it, there was a code showing where the Slider should be. I attached a picture where you can see it.
Does anyone knows why this it? I want to use the theme on this blog: http://traviness.com/

Have you tried to add a featured image on the blog post? I think that fixed it for me.
I treid that, but still the error. Any other ideas? Or can someone tell where I could delete the whole Slider to “solve” the problem?

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.
The slider of Activello theme is working fine on my test site.
This can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporary deactivating all plugins and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.
You can hide the slider by unchecking the theme option “Show Slider” on the following path.
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Customize -> Activello Options -> Slider Option

I have a stupid question about the slider.
How can i add images to the slider?
I can only see “Activello Options → Slider Option”,checked “show slider”, dont know wich categories the theme means. Ive added a product categories with pictures, nothing changed. Is it even possible to add images to the homepage to a slider not related to any category, dont understand even wich category? There is no “add to a slider” option in the library-edit image page, or any plugin for it…please help me.
