I’m having issues with my slider not going below my menu as well. Please see the screenshot (LEFT - shows the main page with the slider not working — RIGHT is the actual post) . My image is a featured image in the post but it’s still not functioning properly.
You haven’t added featured images for posts that you want to display in slider. Here is more about how to use featured images.
