What would cause the slider to show up in the customization preview but not when you exit the preview, where it posts: “Slider is not properly configured”. I had this issue last week too, but it came back.
Everything is configured properly (category, number of slides, and featured images, etc)

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.
Could you please try changing your Slider settings, save the changes and then revert the changes to its initial state?
I visited your shared site but it’s just displaying the message “Scheduled Maintenance” so could you please either make it accessible or share me your site login credentials privately by checking the option “Set as private reply” when replying.
