Hi @jesoos,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
The slider changes its height according to its slider image height but if you don’t want it to change then you can just set the largest slider image height using the following CSS code. In your case i found the largest image height is 427px.
Try adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS option of your theme on the below path.
Admin Area -> Apperance -> Theme Options -> Other -> Custom CSS
.featured-slider .slider-cycle {
height: 427px !important;
}
Best Regards,
Movin
Hello,
I know many posts about the slider height has already been opened but I really can’t fix my problem.
Even if put .featured-slider .slider-cycle { height: 427px !important; }
the image resolution stays bigger thant 427px.

@hubthomas the provided solution is not working for you because it is for Travelify theme and on your shared site you are using Sparkling theme.
For Sparkling theme you should use following custom CSS solution.
.flexslider .slides {
height: 427px !important;
}
Please change the height 427px in the above code to whatever height is in your slider for largest image.
This code does not resolve my problem.
I guess there is no other possibility than cropping the image to a height of 427px which is very annoying cause of the featured image of the single post which is now completely awful and useless …
I fixed the problem with
.home .flexslider { max-height:550px; overflow: hidden; }
.flex-caption {top:25%}
I had to change absolute position of the flex-caption to 25% because it was hidden.
Awesome great to see you got that fixed.
Please advise if you have more questions.
Have a fantastic day!
