Slider photos stretch on mobile and optimal size of photos?

can you help me figure out why my images stretch when viewed on mobile?

also, i am using the plugin “wp smush” to reduce my image sizes. Is it alright to do that? what is the optimal size for images for

  1. featured images
  2. slider photos

Hello there,

I hope you are doing well today.

The slider image needs to be equal to or greater than 1400Wx400H and the featured image needs to be 600Wx300H.

Please try disabling WP Smush, to see if it is causing an issue with the image resizing.
