Social icons and portfolio are not working

I just activated the shapely theme and tried to follow all documentation given, but the social icons and the portfolio section arre not working at all.
I tried do deactivate and activate all plugins and it not worked and I really want this to work, cause I love this theme.
That is how it looks for me.
Please help me.
