Is there a way to only display certain categories, or to separate the Portfolio section by categories?

I was really hoping in the widget, but if there’s a way to do it on the portfolio page, too, I’d really love to hear it.
You have to develop custom code to do this in the widget and to achieve this on portfolio page you can use the solution posted in the following page.
I believe I found that same page while looking for a solution. I’ll dive into it, thank you!
