Sparkling )_ How to Display Tagline

I have both a site name and tagline entered in the Customization > Site Identity area of the Dashboard, and the Display Header Text box checked, but only the site name shows up. How do I get the tagline to show up also?

Hi @gencouncil,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

The theme doesn’t display the tagline but you can make it display by using the attached custom child theme of Sparkling theme that contains some custom code.

Please I want my tagline to appear along side with the header but it is not working for me .

I visited your shared site but tagline is not displaying on it as shown in the attached screenshot.

you did not see as I did not activated as it doesn’t look good but now you can see .I have tick tagline option .it is displaying now .and it will be good if I can change color of tagline.

You can display it on new line and change its color by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS option of the latest version of Sparkling theme on the below path.

Admin Area -> Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS

p.site-description {
    clear: both;
    color: #fff;
}

You can change color value in the above code to whatever you want to use by referring the following pages.

I told you to add it on the following path and not in parent theme CSS.
