I have just add the WPML plug-in in order to add the italian version of my blog www.thewandersofmarty.com
I do not know why on the italian version, the static front page I have set on the original english version is not displayed. I am actually not sure whether I should contact you or WPML for that…are you able to direct me?

I installed the google fonts plug in and then created a new Font control for the title, (adding the CSS selector h1#site-title) and from it |I could modify and centre the title…
