Sticky post or featured post

Hi there,
is there a shapely function which enables kind of a sticky post or featured post: A blog post which is allways shown at first in a choosen category. No matter when the post was published.

In the default blog page it should work, did you tried that?

In my website blogposts are shown in different categories. In these categories the newest blogpost is always listed first. Well thats the normal behavior of showing blogposts.

But what i‘m looking for is to stick a blogpost always in a first position in a choosen category though it is not the newest but the one i would like to start the category of blogposts with.

“stick a blogpost always in a first position in a choosen category” - Sorry but sticky post does not works like that, you can only have one sticky post that will be sticked to your default blog page
