I’ve figured out how to make blogs sticky, which is great. Can you make the featured images for sticky posts appear in the first slider images? this would be ideal to grab peoples attention to your important sticky post.
For this you can create a new post category and call it “sticky” or whatever name you have in mind. Then assign regular sticky posts to this category and then display them display that category in slider. Slider will always show the latest post from that category as first one. While it will not use WordPress default “sticky” option it will work exactly the same way.
