I just updated to the latest version of WordPress and updated all the plugins. Now on a few of my pages a subtitle “Share the Joy” appears (example: Research – Dr. Nicole Redmond) and I cannot figure out how it got there. When I go to edit page I don’t see any extraneous text. It doesn’t seem like it is a widget, and I can’t figure out if it is a plug-in that has gone rogue. I didn’t see a “subtitle” setting on this theme. Any tips?

I visited your site and it seems this is displayed by the plugin super-socializer used on your site so please try deactivating this plugin to confirm it.
