Hello, im having trouble with the adsense advert in the header to the right of my websites logo. If i go into Customize – Banner Settings, you sayYou only need to insert the <ins> tag, but i only know the basics of wordpress and dont know how to add the <ins> tag . Any help would be appreciated.

Derek, its only about to get Adsense code from google and paste it in the field, no WordPress knowledge is required here, if you came to this place then you know enough to copy/paste Adsense code in the text field 
if you have trouble to get your Adsense code then you need to go in google and search for it in your google account
