Tags in Russian not working

Hello,

thanks for the beautiful theme, like it a lot!

I have a blog in Russian www.cosmetiqua.com, and have noticed that the search function does not work with tags in Russian. When I click on the Russian tag from tag-cloud on the right menu side, or under the blog post text in individual post pages, a page with “Oops! That page can’t be found.” appears. When I click on the tags in English the search works just fine.

Can you please help me to make russian tag search work? It is kinda important for a russian-language blog :slight_smile:

Could you please try resaving your permalink settings?

Is it working fine using default Twenty Sixteen theme?

Hello! Thank you for the reply! I am sorry it took me a while to try out the twenty16 theme. My Russian tags don’t seem to work there either. I have resaved the permalinks, but it still says:
“Oops! That page can’t be found.
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try one of the links below or a search?”

Is there anything I can do to make the blog searchable with tags in Russian?
