Top Level Menu Item not clickable

This may be a WP issue, but was wondering if you know how to make the top level Menu Item Clickable when it has children?

I have made it hover on mouse over, following others advice, and the link shows the actual URL, instead of ‘#’, but clicking it goes no where.

Tasting Room (not clickable but want it to be so they go to the top of the page)

  • live music (anchor link works, this is good as it goes to a section on the page)
  • food (anchor link works, this is good this is good as it goes to a section on the page)

I have done this

Tasting Room (not clickable but want it to be so they go to the top of the page)
    - Tasting room (and it opens the top level of the page)
    – live music (anchor link works, this is good as it goes to a section on the page)
    – food (anchor link works, this is good this is good as it goes to a section on the page)

Very silly and poor design to have this type of navigation, but the link is the same as the top level, this one works but the top level goes no where, this is confusing, and looking at the generated html code they are the same, but what is stopping the top level from working?

again, probably now a UNITE issue, just wondering if you know off hand a solution

[resolved]
now = not a UNITE issue.

This is expected behavior because of Nav Walker ise use for this theme. You can read more about it on Github: https://github.com/twittem/wp-bootstrap-navwalker
