I am trying to achieve transparent navigation menu on the home page. The first widget section on my home page is shapely parallax section with full background image. I tried using this on custom css -
.menu-navigation{
background: transparent;
}
The menu appear transparent but I want the menu to be on top of the shapely parallax section when the site loads similar to juniper.net website. While scrolling down, the floating menu is transparent above all the body contents which is as expected. Not sure how to achieve the transparent menu above the image?
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
Please note at the top of the site the menu bar displays white background because the background color of the site body is white. You can change the background color of your site body element to change it.
Hi Movin, is it possible to have the top menu appear directly over the first shapely parallax section with full background image? I understand now that it’s already transparent…just wondering if I can have the menu and logo show up transparently over the background image like in the attached example, but no worries if that’s not an option. This theme is INCREDIBLE and is exactly what I’ve been looking for!
@sarahmcb3 To help us keep support thread separates could you please create your own thread for your question here https://colorlibsupport.com/c/shapely/ instead of replying on others thread as it makes the thread messy and hard to read.
If you want to you can also add reference of this thread in your newly created thread.
We would be more than happy to help you on your new thread.
