Transparent / Opaque pages when using Travelify WordPress theme

I am interested in making the pages on my Travelify themed site either fully transparent or opaque.
I would like it so that all sections of the page are either transparent/opaque and the background image is visible.

Please post your website URL, so I can see your current website setup and provide your website specific solution.

General solution for removing background for wrapper while leaving background in place for articles themselves is like this:

#main,
.wrapper {
	background: transparent;
	box-shadow: none;
}

Add this code to Theme Options >> Other >> Custom CSS.

Let me know if you need any further assistance with this.

Hi Aigars

Thank you for your prompt response - my website is the following:

I would like to make the content pages slightly opaque so that the background picture can be seen through the content page - obviously things like pictures etc won’t be opaque/transparent and I will change the colour of the font if required.

You can change content area opacity for Travelify theme by adding this code to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Other >> Custom CSS:

.widget, article {
  background: rgba(255,255,255,0.5)
}

0.5 in this code stands for opacity. 0 being completely transparent and 1 means solid color with no opacity. Just adjust it to get the result you were looking for.
