Every time there is an automatic update, the settings all revert back to their original state. How can this be avoided? All the changes I made to the original theme don’t seem to function.
I would appreciate some help.
Hi there
Hope you are having a good day and thank you for your question
Sorry about this, can you tell me what changes are reverting back? are we talking about setting in customizer?
settings should not be reverted back to original settings, this is not possible in the WordPress, i think something else is happening here
Thanks!

It’s mostly the Custom CSS that changed. I had modified the Copyright at the bottom, and the “Posted by…” text. The modifications still appear in the Additional CSS but not on the website itself.
hi there
Please provide link to the page and tell me what exactly should be changed and how
Here is the link: whiskandsimmer.com
I’m looking to remove the following: “Posted on [date], by [author]” to only have the date with this format [Wednesday, June 27th 2018] and the same font as my text preview.
I also want to remove [Theme by Colorlib Powered by WordPress] from the copyright at bottom of my page and have the following text: [Copyright © 2017 | All Rights Reserved | Whisk & Simmer]
Thank you
HI
You said all changes are made in the customizer > custom css, can you share a screenshot of this box? or can you please provide access details privately?
also, please consider in order to remove footer credit you need a license:
