We just recently introduced your templates to one of our colleagues, and he tried charity2 but this could not be installed, see the attached image for the better understanding. Any guide on how to resolve this?

Hope you are having a good day and thank you for your question
All our wordpress themes are available in wordpress.org this means you can install our themes from WordPress menu > appearance > themes and install the theme
From the screenshot - most probably you are uploading not WordPress theme, can you show me the content of the zipped folder by the screenshot?

You are right, it is HTML file, but on your website, you stated that the URL is for Wordpress version, ok , how does one get the Wordpress version of this charity2 ?

Please ,see the url , Charity 2 - Free Charity Website Template - Colorlib , or is it only the html follder that is available as a freemium offer ?

Secondly, we have used one voyage and plan to use WordPress version of charity/html. Since we are using the free template now, if we pay thereafter, do we need to download another template to remove the backlink or we can remove the backlink on the existing web-project developed.
Our constraint is this, we may have cause to start the project afresh again if we can not remove the backlink from a completed website.

Charity is an HTML template so it would not work with WordPress, we do have a catalog of theme for WordPress that you can use here:

Now, in order to remove the backlink you would have to purchase a license from us. Please have a look at it with the link below:

You are yet to get my point, what I said is this:
We have used free template for a work and looking towards another one soon but can we remove the backlink thereafter. Let us say we used free template last month, but this week we want to pay you to remove the backlink at the footer of the page where your name appears, is it possible? or we will just have to start with new template to remove the backlink ?

You can remove the backlink at any point in time, you would not have to start over.
