I’m trying to create a blog section on my website using the ‘latest-news’ section.
However in the ‘customise’ settings menu, there is nowhere to add a link for the button to link to (I want it to link to another page on my site).
There is also no option in the Illdy theme for the page attribute to be ‘blog’ or any other template options provided in the illdy theme.
Are there any solutions to these issues someone can offer? Any help would be greatly appreciated or ideas for the easiest way to make a blog page using what sections exist within the illdy theme!
I’m not trying to add a custom button I’m just trying to add a link to the button to link to the page I was my blog posts to show up on. Maybe it’s clearer visually in the attached screenshot.
The ‘reading’ section doesn’t allow me to do that it just lets me select what page on my site I want to use as my homepage which isn’t really what I’d like to do. I primarily want a template to be able to use for a blog (page) but that doesn’t seem to be offered by this theme is that correct?
Well, you cant define link for that button, once you click on it you will be redirected to your blog, page.
make sure your blog is defined in WordPress settings > reading
