Waterline

Hello,
I hope you are not too burdened by the suffocating heat that reigns in me.
I need your help because I would like to change the “waterline” of the header of my homepage. I searched without finding a solution.
Thank you for your help

Hi there

Hope you are having a good day and thank you for your question
Which waterline? can you show me it?
Thanks!

Hello,
Thank you for your quick response.
Sorry, I meant “above the fold” or “above the scroll”. I wish I could change the height of this line.
Thank you for your friendly help,

Hello there,

i am still not clear on what element that you are referring to, could you please add an image of it?

Best Regards,
Support

Hello,
Sorry for the delay in answering, but I was very busy.
I’m talking about “above the fold” on the jaugette.com’s homepage. When we are on the site, the background image of the home page takes the whole screen, but I would like to decrease this part so that we discover a part of the image, so that the we are inclined to scroller down. I do not know if I’ve been clear enough, but I’m not a specialist.
I would like to go up the line illustrated by the red arrows on the image, so that visitors know that there is something lower and invite them to scroller.
Thank you for your help,

Hello there,

So, you would like to reduce the height of the image in the first section so that the users will know there is more content below it?

Thank you, i try it and repost…

Hello to all the team,

I incur the code you suggested to me. It works (almost too much) with Chrome, Chromium, Epiphany, but not with Firefox.
Strange…

If, sorry, it works with Firefox. Can we manage the height?
Thank you so much for your help.

hi there

Sorry for the delay,
yes, you can manage height by changing numbers in the code

Hello,

thank you for your response.
Despite the code change nothing happens. The height remains the same.
Note that this works for PCs, but not for laptops.
Le site a un bien meilleur aspect grâce à vous.

The site has a much better appearance thanks to you…

hi

Is everything acceptable now?
i believe numbers change will work, you have to clear cache after new values

Yes, everything works perfectly and it’s up to you. Thanks to the whole team.
