Web site changed to blank format with no widgets and formating

Seems that my website format has changed format. The Shapely theme no longer looks like shapely. Has turned to blank generic looking format without the shapely bells and whistles.

Have you seen this problem before? No recent changes made except deleting spam comments.

Hi,

  1. Create a page, and called it as Home or whatever you want. Then choose the Page Tempaltes in Page Attribute in the right side to be Homage page.
  2. Set the newly created page as the Front Page in Settings -> Readings -> Front Page Display as -> Static Page.
  3. It will do the trick, after that you can edit the widgets in Appearance -> Widgets -> Homepage or via Appearance -> Customize -> Widgets.
