What are the original theme fonts and color Hex codes?

Hello,

I’m trying to match some text to the theme in but cant figure out what the correct fonts and color hex codes for the purple color are. If you can please let me know, I can have a more cohesive look.

Second question - I really wanted to use the Grand Hotel font in one area, but can’t get Word Press to recognize this font when trying to type in the CCS - do you have any suggestions of how to make this work? this is what I tried:
<p style=“font-family:Grand Hotel; font-size: 14px;”> EMAIL ME </p>

I’m very new to this so appreciate your help!

Thank you!

It is a custom font and you can use custom font in WordPress site using the below solutions.

Hi Movin!

Thanks for the help!

This may be a silly follow up question, but where to I find the <head> tag to add in this code: <link href=“https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Grand+Hotel” rel=“stylesheet”> ?

I also want to just confirm that this is only going to enable the option to use the CSS for the font for certain headings, not change the font of the whole theme… is that correct?

Thanks again!

You can use following wp_head action hook to add it in the head tag.

https://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Action_Reference/wp_head

I also want to just confirm that this is only going to enable the option to use the CSS for the font for certain headings, not change the font of the whole theme… is that correct?

The above code will just only load the font. To use the font you have to develop custom CSS code using @font-face as described on the above shared pages.

I added in the code to the header section and something went wrong and now I can even access my site… I keep getting this error message in the browser: www.messymiddleblog.com is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

How can I fix this or undo it, especially since I cant get it to load so I can access the site?

Please help!

I copied the code, added my font per this site: Google Fonts and pasted as follows:

<?p
add_action(‘wp_head’,font-family:‘grandHotel’, cursive;);
);
?>
<link href=“https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Grand+Hotel” rel=“stylesheet”>

</head>

OK - update. Panic moment over, I was able to login and delete the code finally but still very unsure of how to get this font in there. Obviously I did something VERY wrong before.

Idk if you can be more explicit in the instructions, or if that is not possible, but I am unable to figure out exactly where the code should go, or exactly how it should be set up.

As always, I really appreciate your help!

If it is hard for you to load the font as described above then use any of the following plugins to load the font and then use it developing custom CSS code using @font-face as described on the above shared pages.
