White space under Shapely header, above content section

Hello,
So far none of the custom CSS solutions in the forum have worked for me. Can you assist in removing the empty white space shown in the screenshot? Domain is present in the screenshot. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Please add this CSS in appearance - customize - additional CSS

div#shapely_home_parallax-12 {
padding-top: 0px !important;
background: url(https://earthretrievals.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/houska-tree-2048.jpg);
background-attachment: fixed;
background-position: center;
}

Thanks!

Hi Noda, thank you. This did get rid of the empty space.

However one problem is because we’re defining the background in the CSS it’s causing it to fill the whole screen versus just the widget and it doesn’t look great. Screenshot attached.

Is there any CSS that would remove the white space yet keep the background defined by the widget? Thanks so much, really appreciate you taking a look.

Hi there

Ok, I will try, but can you please attach the image again? right now it’s not attached and I see the only white screen: Screenshot by Lightshot

Sorry must have attached the wrong one. I changed the background, but if you look at the attached photo, the white space is gone now but the background image expanded to fit the screen instead of the widget I believe.

Hi Tradglider

hm… the image is still not appearing here, looks like checking several things in the backend is necessary, please send me your access credentials along with your website URL and I will investigate this case.

I believe that’s been fixed now, you should see the header and background. If needed you may just have to click through the cookie consent banner.

Hi there

Ok, now the image is appearing, please use this code and let me know the results:

#shapely_home_parallax-12 {
padding-top: 0px;
}

Thank you. I had tried this earlier and unfortunately all it does is move the text and button upwards on the background image.

Good morning Tradglider

Sorry about that, right now im out of idea :slight_smile:
