Hi, I’m having an issue with the widgets. As stated on the topic title, they have stopped showing on the sidebar. I have 4 widgets active on the sidebar área on appearance > widgets as shown in the image below. Aside from updating a couple of plugins, no one on my team has touched anything, so I don’t know why they stopped working.
I deactivated all plugins to see if that was the problem, but the widgets still don’t appear on the sidebar.
They do work, however, on the home page and footer.
Can i check this from the backend? please use this plugin to create temporary access for us, its automatic login link and does not requires sharing your admin details. here is How To guide. at the and don’t forget about “Set as private reply” at the bottom of the message box
Hi, thanks for answering me. What role would you need me to assign you? I’m not sure I can give you an administrator role. This page is a university project, which I’m part of. Our group does not specialise on technology, as we study tourism. But I’m the only one in the group (including teachers) who knows a little bit about web pages. Just basic things. So if anything goes wrong, my head will roll. I hope you can understand why I’m wary about security issues.
Just checked your problem and yes I can see it, weird, have you done any modification in the theme files?
also, deactivate all third party plugins and try again your problem, most probably this I conflict with third-party plugins.
Once you deactivate all plugins please check your problem again, if the problem is gone then this means it was a plugin conflict. Now, start activating plugins one by one and same time repeat your problem until your problem appears again, now you know which plugin was in conflict

I just did what you told me and deactivated all plugins. And nothing. The problem still there. It’s weird because we only post entries, and all of a sudden, I notice the widgets are no longer on the sidebar
Ok, can you please try to remove all existing widgets from the sidebars (maybe you can collect them on one blank sidebar temporary) save options and then add just one text widget? please try this and let me know results
