Wordpress standard featured images don't show on pages with Shapely theme

Hi there,

I’m trying to display featured images using the built in feature for pages in Wordpress with the Shapely theme enabled, but when I do, no images appear.

I have seen mentions of this for other themes here on the forum. Is this a known issue with Shapely?

Hi Kim,

I hope you are well today and thanks for posting here.

I could confirm the issue on my test site therefore notified the theme developer about this so that it will be fixed.

In the meanwhile you can try resolving the issue by using the attached modified child theme of Shapely theme.

Hi,

Is there a fix for this yet? I’ve already added a child theme to fix a different issue so I don’t think I can add a second one?

The above shared child theme is a fix for it but as you are already using the child theme then we have to merge the code from both these child themes.
