I have tested sparkling menu navigation today and i found that there is a small bug there with Menu With Font Awesome icons. Title Attribute alt text showing the “Navigation label” instead of Title Attribute. Please refer the screenshot.
But works well with glypicon icons.
Where will be the issue?
And also footer menu does not support icon fonts. Shall make it into icon fonts ready?

I could confirm the issue on my test site and notified the theme developer to fix this issue.
The issue will be fixed in the future version of plugin.
In the meanwhile to fix this issue try using the attached Sparkling child theme that contains custom code in the functions.php file of the theme to fix it.
And also footer menu does not support icon fonts. Shall make it into icon fonts ready?
It’s working fine on my test site as shown in the attached screenshot.
Could you please share your site URL where it’s not working so that i can troubleshoot it?
