If I use Yoast SEO plugin, does it affect my Additional css or child theme. Is it ok to use it ?

It is perfectly fine to use Yoast SEO plugin. In fact we also use it on our website and highly recommend it to everyone as it provides a much better control over SEO than standard WordPress install.
