Add Social Profiles to Author Bio

Hi,

Is it possible to add more information about the post authors ? In particular, I’d like to add links / icons to the author’s social profiles & website url. How would you proceed ?

It wasn’t exactly what I needed, I probably wasn’t clear enough in my question. Sorry for that.

I would like to add social icons on the post pages, to the author biography. The theme already let me enter the social links on the admin. I would like to include the links on the front. This plugin does the job: Simple Author Box – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org but I have to remove the native author bio. What I’m looking for is a way to “edit” the current code displaying the bio to avoid using a plugin. Any idea ?

Thanks for making it clear.

You can achieve this by editing the current author code.

Just use the attached child theme of Sparkling theme that contains the file content-single.php in this file on line number 80 you can add the code to display the author social icons.
