I have my homepage set to display recent posts. I use an event calendar (currently Quick Event Manager, but I think I’m going to switch to Event Espresso 4). In both cases, the events don’t get a regular post number, so they don’t show up in my recent posts on the homepage. Can I insert some kind of code loop which would add them to the homepage posts? I have given them a category of homepage like the other homepage posts, but so far they don’t show.
You can see the site at http://www.ncjwgrs.org/
An example of an event post I wish were on the homepage is http://www.ncjwgrs.org/event/the-law-movie-night/
Thank you for your help.
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
To achieve this you have to use the child theme shared in your following topic and develop custom code in it to achieve this.
Developing custom code for custom functionality is beyond the scope of support that we provide here.
