Adding author to posts

Hello -

I would like to add an author to my posts. I found the child theme to use from this thread (https://colorlibsupport.com/t/show-author-name-in-activello-template/#post-47439), but I’m not sure how to install it.

When I upload it to the Appearance -> Themes page, I get an error that says “The parent theme is missing. Please install the “Activello-master” parent theme.”

The site is www.doseofdiscovery.com. I appreciate any help you can provide.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

Please make sure you have installed the Activello theme on your site and then install and use the attached child theme that contains some custom code.

Had to redo some changes when I switched to the child theme, but it works now. Thanks!
