I am trying to get links inside of the iframe tabs to open new tabs/iframes. i have explored the docs and tried some of the code samples but i cant get it to work properly… does anyone have any insight on how to make this work successfully?

You need to make modifications into the content of Iframe, other than this you cant make it work.

What modifications would that be? I ended up building a script extension for the IFrame part of adminlte.js for this but if there’s an easier solution I’d appreciate some guidance. I appreciate your response.

It depends on the exact case, but in general, if you want to open a link from the iframe into the new window without modifications this will require some modifications as you already did.
