Bad image quality

Hi guys,

I found out that the images on my website, are not sharp at all and bad quality. This is the case for the images on:

  1. The image behind my ‘‘services’’, which are blog posts in my case.
  2. The promotional image of each ‘‘service’’ (blog).
  3. The header image of each blogpost.

Can you please tell me how this happens and how I can fix it?

For the blog, feature image is too small. Its currently being stretched to fit the header section.

Thank you for responding. However, I didn’t succeed so far.

  1. Which size does the image behind my services needs to be? (attachment A)
  2. What size does the feature image needs to be? (attachment B)
  3. Which sizes does the featured images need to be? (attachment C)

Hi there,
I am also having a problem with the resolution of the pictures. after selecting a picture as post-image for my entries it reduces dramatically the quality of this ones. the original size of the Pictures is 4000px or more and the look really bad on every teaser. Check the teaser pictures for the Blog post .:S

The image needs to be greater than 1000x800 px and the theme would be resized.
