The hosting site was able to whitelist the entire theme directory and the plugin directory but I was still not able to see anything when I go to customize the theme. The hosting site said maybe there was some script running or a pathway that was getting blocked.
So I went to the start again and disabled all plugins and disabled the security firewall and this time I could not see anything still when I went to customize. Previously that was the only way I could customize, when I disabled the security/firewall.
Looks like we are at the start again with more issues. Can you please look at this again and see how we can resolve this.

Well, now im sure this is not theme problem, i can’t even install any plugins from WordPress repository, you can try this too, try to install any plugin, this is not possible, problem requires deeper investigation and if you don’t have your site already designed then delete everything and start over, otherwise you have to investigate this problem further

I’m sure the same problem is not allowing to run customizer normally

Customizer is not working even for default WordPress themes…
I have had the hosting look at the issues and try to debug WordPress. They have said the Illdy theme is not compatible with WP version 5.1.1 and this is where the issues are coming from. Is there going to be an update for the theme in the near future, if not I will have to use another theme.

I can say for sure this is not true, the theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress and lot of our users are using it like that, as i said before customizer is not even working on default themes and you can check it yourself
