Cannot remove right-sidebar on home page (or any page)

I just installed the Shapely theme on the latest version of wordpress (I also use Bluehost). I made sure to use a static page as my homepage, and use full-width. I uploaded my 1920x1080 background, made sure it was set to fill, yet I still have a white sidebar on my page and the background will not fill up the whole width of the page.

Anyone know how to fix so there are no more white sidebars on this and any of my pages? My site where you can see the problem is: www.kennethlhoff.com

Thank You!

Hi @klh121575,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

I visited your shared site and it is displaying full width for me as shown in the attached screenshot.

Please advise.

Best Regards,
Movin

Here, look at the attached print screen. There is a column of white space on the right. Why doesn’t the background go to the end of the screen like most full screen backgrounds. There shouldn’t be any white to the right. Take a look.

It seems the IE specific issue.

On what screen size are you testing it?

Could you please try using larger background image?

This issue has been resolved, but cannot determine why. All I can think of is I emptied my cache and tried again and it seems OK now. Thank You regardless for your help!

Ken

You are most welcome here
