Can't access updates in wordpress TypeError thrown

The website shows ok but when I go to wordpress dashboard and click on updates or plugins I get an error message.
count(): Argument #1 ($value) must be of type Countable|array, null given

I dont know what version of wordpress it is but its php 8.2

Can you share the screenshot, please? I don’t believe it’s a theme-related issue. Could you temporarily activate a default WordPress theme and try again?

A screen shot of what? I think you could be right

I activated a default theme and that threw an error too. I then reactivated your theme and the error is still there.

I’ll log in via ftp and disable all the plugins and see what that does.

Thanks for your comments. I disabled woo commerce updater and that fixed the problem.
