Can't open theme customizer after update to WP 4.9

Hey guys,
since I updated my Wordpress to version 4.9 I’m unable to open the theme customizer. I use Dazzling with a Child-Theme which I downloaded here. Later I managed the Child-Theme with the Child-Theme-Configurator-Plugin. Is the Theme-Customizer generally broken right now or is it my configuration that breaks it?

I tried multiple browsers: Chrome, Firefox, IE
(I removed the page-name for privacy reasons, if needed I will provide them via private message)

Please try using the following plugin to clear your WordPress cache then try to access the customizer once more:

If that does not work then contact your hosting provider and have them ensure that you have PHP version 4.6.

I’m doing well, thanks for asking! I hope the same goes for you.

I used wp-super-cache to clear the cache and checked my php-version. phpinfo shows PHP Version 5.6.13.
But I still can’t open the customizer.

Update: I found the problem. It seems like my activated language file in Wordpress broke some JavaScript needed for the customizer. I used german_formal and switched back to simply german. Now everything works as intended.
