Can't remove/edit Posts Layout A Widget

Hi there,

I hope you can help as I’m having trouble with one section trying to set up my homepage.

When editing the Homepage - Content Area in the ‘Customizer’, one of the widgets has become ‘stuck’ and I cannot edit or remove the ‘Posts Layout A’ widget in this area of the homepage. When clicking on the dropdown arrow to edit, nothing happens making it impossible to change the settings or remove the section.

Any advice you can give on how to fix this would be much appreciated. I have attached a screenshot showing the element I am referring to.

I hope you’re doing well today

  • Try deactivating the theme >
  • Clear your browser cache. if you have any server side caching or plugin please clear and disable these.
  • Reactivate the theme.
  • Deactivate all plugins that aren’t recommended and test to see if the issue

Hi,

I’m experiencing exactly the same issue with Posts Layout A. I tried all the steps as recommended:

  1. Deactivated Newspaper X theme
  2. Deactivated ALL plugins
  3. Cleared cache
  4. Reactivated Newspaper X theme

Problem still persists. Please advise, thank you.

Please contact your hosting provider and check to ensure that you are PHP version 5.6 or 7.
