Can't see sections on front page

I got a fresh installation of Pixova Lite and when I try to add any sections on the front page they aren’t displayed. If i turn them all on the only thing that changes is there appears wide white space above the footer.

Could you advise what i can do to fix the issue? I installed all the recommended plugins, disabled all the other plugins, it won’t do it.
