Changing the way a blog-category-page is shown

Hello there,

I already mentioned how much I do like shapely. I am still working on a development site and I guess it really looks great. Also the functionality is just what you want!

Now I have a question:

I want to have a link pointing to a blog category. I am happy with the display of the articles in this category in the grid. But I really would want:

the name of the category as the title of the page
the description of the category on top (right after the name of the category)
maybe a divider to the grid like </hr> or so.

If the name and the description would be available and each of them would have a class connected I could do the formatting just as I wish. Is there any way to solve that?

Thank you for getting back to me, best regards!

Martin

Hi Martin,

Thank you so much for your kind words about our theme

For now the category is displaying like this: https://colorlib.com/shapely/category/news/ You want the category description here? See the screenshot: http://take.ms/gzEgs

Dear Laranz,

yes, that is what I would like to achieve. It would be nice if it would be in the white part (not in the grey) but both would work …

Thank you for getting back! Best regards!

Hi again,

I guess I found a way t accomplish what I needed. I just solved be adding a plugin that would list posts of a certain category using a shortcake. So now I can ad any category of posts to a page a format the page to my liking!
