Contact 7 Form on Hompage

Hi @movin,

As mentioned in this thread (https://colorlibsupport.com/t/contact-form-7-support/#post-90172), I am having trouble including the contact form directly on the homepage. Per suggestion in the other thread, I installed this widget: https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-shortcode-and-php-support-in-text-widget/ but that didn’t seem to do the trick. When placing the short code for the form in a widget on the homepage, it just displays the code and not the contact form.

Or, the other option, is to please create a way to remove the double title when creating a page that isn’t the home page. I currently have my contact form located on a separate page from the homepage but the double title doesn’t look good.

Is it possible to replace the shaded bar area where the title appears for the first time with a panorama style photo? Or… at the very least… remove that section and have everything else on the page move up to fill that space?

Thanks.

Hi,

  1. Use this child theme, https://colorlibsupport.com/t/centering-other-widgets-on-the-home-page/#post-90223 it will support other widgets on the home page. Also,

  2. Go to Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS and add this CSS Snippet in it, it will remove the second title in that page.

.page-template-full-width .post-title, .page-template-full-width .entry-meta { display: none; }

For having a background image on that page, you can customize that globally from Appearance -> Customizer. But if you want that only for that page means, use this CSS,

.page-id-2017 .page-title-section.bg-secondary {
    background-image: url("http://lorempixel.com/1000/300");
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-size: cover;
}

Change the image URL according to your needs.

Let us know,

Thanks,
laranz.
